About Fermó Gianni
Made in the Marche
Fermó Gianni is a small Italian house making footwear, eyewear, and accessories the slow way. The name comes from the Marche — the stretch of Adriatic coast where Italy has quietly made its finest shoes for generations. That temperament runs through everything we do: made by hand, kept plain, built to last.
The Story
A new house, old standards
Fermó Gianni is a new name working to an old set of rules. Italian craft carries codes that took generations to settle — the full-grain hide, the hand-stitched sole, the balanced last. We keep those, and leave out everything else.
The house we wanted didn't exist: the presence of the great Italian makers, without the noise or the logos. So we built it.
Craftsmanship
Handcrafted, hand checked
Every piece is made by hand in Italy, in small batches — cut, shaped, and finished one at a time. Before anything carries our name, it is inspected by hand: the line of a seam, the set of a sole, the finish on an edge. Anything short of right is set aside.
No logos, no excess. Material, proportion, and finish do all the talking.
Made by hand in Italy, one piece at a time. Nothing rushed, nothing automated.
Built to be worn daily and kept for years — resoled, not replaced.

"The quality you can only feel is the quality worth paying for. It lives in the grain of the leather, the weight of a frame, the way a shoe holds its shape after a decade."
— The Fermó Gianni standard
